DERMAL FILLERS

Fillers are defined as filling substances particularly suitable for the treatment of:

  • WRINKLES of the face (nasogenic, perilabial, periocular, glabellar)
  • LIPS: increase in definition and volume
  • CHEEKBONES: increase in projection and refinement of the form
  • MANDIBLE and NOSE: definition of the profile (rhinofiller)

Hyaluronic acid is the substance that is most commonly used. The technological improvement of the molecule is now very high and almost equivalent in the many commercial names that the market offers. It guarantees full bio-compatibility with the tissues, absence of allergic reactions, repeatability of the treatment and total resorbability.

Over the years, many candidate substances have been alternated to choose the ideal filler, but none has been able to compete with the merits and qualities of hyaluronic acid, which in fact has become the molecule of choice in the treatment of facial volumes.

Depending on the needs and indications, reabsorbable (slow or rapid reabsorption) or non-absorbable molecules can be used. The preference is on absorbable fillers as they induce less inflammation in the skin, guarantee greater tolerability and  the best modeling of the result. The use of absorbable substances also allows the treatment to be adapted to the various stages of aging of the areas of the face. Year after year it will be possible to repeat the treatments, modeling them according to the evolution of the tissues themselves.

The application procedure is simple and is performed in the clinic, it is minimally painful (in limited cases it can be accompanied by local or topical anesthesia) and repeatable over time to refine or further increase the result obtained. At the same time, after the first session it is not mandatory to proceed with subsequent applications if you do not want to maintain the result.

Patients can return to their activities immediately after treatment, small hematomas may develop at the needle entry sites, which however will disappear within hours.

alternatively or in association:

  1. CO2 laser - creates additional smoothing

  2. Laser IPL - increases the effects of the filler on tone, brightness and compactness of the skin

  3. Biorevitalization and PRP - accentuates skin hydration
