PLASTIC SURGERY OF THE FACE

The face is the most important part of the body because it allows us to communicate our feelings and emotions. The face is our business card, it is what creates a first visual impression that often becomes decisive in interpersonal and working relationships. All of these factors must be considered in the design and execution of cosmetic facial surgeries.

The most important goal to achieve with facial plastic surgery is a natural and credible appearance. The surgeries performed by Dr. Massimo Corso are carefully designed to achieve this.

FAQs on FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY

1Is it possible to carry out aesthetic surgical operations placing them at the expense of the PUBLIC Health System in case of physical problems that affect a person's life?
In principle, it is not possible to have cosmetic surgery for free with the SSN. In the hospital, interventions can sometimes be performed to improve breathing (septoplasty), to correct excess skin after very strong weight loss and to correct congenital anomalies (in particular for the breasts).
2Many tell me that rhinoplasty is very painful and creates obvious bruises on the face and around the eyes, is that true?
These opinions are based on incorrect information. Rhinoplasty generates very little pain which is normally managed with simple tachidol. Same thing for the swelling, a modest edema may arise for the first 3 days, but never in a compromising or debilitating way. This is an intervention that is well tolerated by patients.
3Could I use the ability to see with a blepharoplasty?
There is absolutely no influence on the eye and therefore on eyesight. Even if the planes are close together (eyelid and eye) they are two completely different things anatomically!
4I have been carrying out aesthetic medicine treatments with hyaluronic acid for many years to improve the volume of the cheekbones, if I want a longer lasting effect, can I undergo surgery with prostheses or does the fact that I have used hyaluronic acid contraindicate it?
Absolutely not, cheekbone prostheses can be inserted without past hyaluronic treatment compromising their success. Indeed, it is always preferable that patients come to the decision to insert permanent prostheses after having tested their appearance with hyaluronic acid.
5I had an aesthetic rhinoplasty 8 years ago and recently I suffered a trauma that changed the bridge of the nose, where a small bump reappeared. Is it possible to fix it?
Yes, of course, depending on the type of "damage" that has been created in this new trauma, it can be corrected in a more or less conservative way.
